How do I reserve dates for my group?

To make a reservation, first, check our calendar for availability. The dates not marked through are available to be booked. You can submit your dates to receive a quote. Your quote will be accepted depending on availability.  Once reviewed, you will receive an email that your dates were accepted. It will include a link where you can pay your deposit via credit card, PayPal,  Zelle or you can send a check. If your deposit is not received within 14 days, we will open the dates back up to the public and you will need to submit a new quote.

What types of payments do you accept?

Credit cards and PayPal are accepted as payment online. There will be a 3% service fee incurred if using online payments.  To avoid any service fees you can pay by check or utilize Zelle.  Please make sure to designate a single person to act as the coordinator for your group reservation and to handle all payments. We cannot accept individual payments from each member for private retreats.  

What is the cancellation policy? 

The original payment made at booking is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.  We will allow a change in dates as long as it is greater than 90 days before your scheduled retreat date and it must be rebooked within 6 months.  Final payments are due 60 days prior to retreat date and are non-refundable.  All notices of cancellation must be made by email at thecastleonkendrick@gmail.com.

What about meals?

Your group will have access to the fully equipped kitchen.  The kitchen contains all of the needed appliances, bakeware, crockpots, coffee pots, and dishes/utensils you need to prepare your own meals.  Just bring the food and beverages!  There are several grocery stores and restaurants within a few miles of the Retreat House. 

How many people can stay?

The Castle on Kendrick can host 12 people.  We have 4 guest bedrooms. On the main level, we have Bedroom 1 (Black/White Room) with a queen and 2 twin beds.  On the upper level, Bedroom 2 (Pink Room) has a queen, a full and a twin bed.  Bedroom 3 (Green Room) has 2 queen beds and Bedroom 4 (Blue Room) has 2 full beds and a twin.

What time is check-out/check-in?

Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is 10 am. Late checkout may be available on request the week prior to your stay.

What about pets?

The Castle on Kendrick is a pet-free facility. No pets allowed.

What is your smoking policy?

We don't allow any smoking or vaping inside the retreat house.  

Can our group stay for longer than 3 or 4 nights?

Yes,  We have a minimum 3 night policy but you can stay as many nights as you want as long as there is availability.  

Can my group still come if there are less than 8 of us?

Yes!   While 8-12 guests is ideal, we realize that there are smaller groups that would like to come as well.  We can accommodate smaller groups of 4-7 but there will be a cleaning fee of $200 added to the total.
